Gunmen Attack, Killed Nigerian Soldiers, Policemen, Burn Operational Vehicles in Akwa Ibom



A yet numbers of Soldiers and police were killed today in Akwa Ibom by Unknown gunmen.

Omokoshaban gathered that the securities force were attacked early early morning.

The gunmen were said to have killed a Chief Superintendent of Police, identify as Benedict Okoh Ajide and other police officers which their name is yet to be revealed.

The incident happen in Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state.

Also unconfirmed numbers of Soldiers were said to have been killed by the same gunmen.

The policemen and soldiers were said to be in the community for peacekeeping efforts when they were attacked

“Unknown gunmen attacked some police officers and soldiers today. Their Hilux vans were also set ablaze,” a source told SaharaReporters.
