Osun State Governor, Adegoyega today received Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde in his office.

The government who disclose the development on his official Facebook page, said the governor and his entourage visited him to expressed appreciation over the amicable settlement of the joint ownership of LAUTECH.

"Earlier today, I received my brother and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde and his entourage who came to express their appreciation for the amicable agreement to end our joint ownership of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology ( LAUTECH) Ogbomoso.

It's important to note that this decision was reached in the best interest of the two states, the students, staff and management of the university. I also want to reassure Osun citizens working at LAUTECH that the ceding of the institution to Oyo State won't affect their jobs.

They will retain all rights and obligations stipulated in their letters of engagement. Osun students at the university will also not be discriminated against and will not be subjected to fees or admission differentials.
