Saudi Arabia - 10,000 pilgrims expected for Hajj
Hajj, the annual pilgrimage made by Muslims to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia, has been significantly scaled back this year.
International visitors have been banned from making the journey to Mecca in a bid to curb the Covid-19 pandemic.
This year 10,000 pilgrims are expected – dramatically reduced from the usual two million.
Worshippers will have to quarantine before and after the pilgrimage, and face masks will be mandatory at all times.
