Crystal Palace 2-3 Chelsea
Just as it was in their previous away game, Chelsea found their themselves in another five-goal thriller but this time they got the victory against Crystal Palace at Selhurst park on Tuesday.
Chelsea who are Champions League hopefuls found themselves ahead in the 6th minute through a goal from Olivier Giroud who capitalise on an error from former captain, Gary Cahill .
That effort was compensated with a superb strike in the 27th from in-form Christian Pulisic before Wilfried Zaha pulled one back for Palace in the 34 minute in an amazing fashion to keep Chelsea in check.
The second half commenced and it was not until the 71st minute before a goal came when Tammy Abraham easily tapped in his effort to make Chelsea feel more comfortable with a two goal lead. But a minute later such comfort was put under check as Christian Benteke scored Palace second of the day.
That was how the match ended with Chelsea finishing top. Palace searched for a goal to salvage a point, even getting close by hitting the crossbar in the dieing stages on the game. But such wasn't gonna happen as Roy Hodgson's men were condemned to their fourth defeat in a roll. Chelsea now moves up to third position right above Leicester City.
