The Gunners were gunned down at Brighton in what has seemed to be a terrible week for Arsenal losing both matches and important players to injury. Naul Maupay scored a 95th minute goal to give Brighton all three points. After his hand in the cause of Arsenal's goalkeeper's injury were he seemed to have pushed Bernd Leno whlie contesting for an aerial the Arsenal Goalkeeper landed awkwardly on his knee prompting him to be stretched out of the field adding to Arsenal's injury list. On return to play in the second half Arsenal shook off the loss of arguably their best player of the season with a wonderful goal from Nicolas Pepe in the 68th minute to put the visitors ahead but that goal only lasted for 7 minutes as Brighton pulled one back through Lewis Dunk to grab the equaliser. It wasn't a certain David Luiz's fault this time guess it was due to Arsenal's lack of concentration according to coach Mikel Arteta that caused Naul Maupay to score a last last minute goal lifting the ball above replacement goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez to kill every hope of Champions league qualification for the Gunners.
