VDRL Strip aide rapid investigation of VDRL
While the VDRL test is commonly performed in a laboratory setting using “VDRL strip.”
The VDRL test is considered a screening test, meaning that a positive result indicates the presence of antibodies but requires further confirmation using more specific tests, such as the Treponema pallidum particle agglutination assay (TPPA) or the fluorescent treponemal antibody absorption test (FTA-ABS).
