Following the record of about 19 new cases in Ondo state within the last 12 days, a health worker, a journalist and an American citizen who was stuck in the country as a result of the lockdown, where reported to be included in the number of new cases.
This was disclosed by the state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, during a brief press conference in Akure, the state capital.
The governor revealed that his administration was working tirelessly to cope with the challenges of the pandemic.
He however, implored the citizens of the state to remain cautious and adhere strictly to the preventive guidelines of the NCDC.
