Cross River State has no coronavirus case because they are not testing - Akwa Ibom Commissioner

Public Relations Officer of the Akwa Ibom State chapter of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA),, Dr. Emmanuel John, said the following on Inspiration FM (Saturday, April 25, 2020):

Dr. Aniekeme Uwah, the State Epidemiologist was removed from office because he had instructions from the Commissioner for Health to collect only ten samples.

He (Dr. Aniekeme Uwah) asked why and the Commissioner replied that: "Cross River State has no case because they are not testing, this is how we went about testing HIV and became number one in the country".
