Governor Ganduje of Kano Bans TV Station From Airing Drama Showing Lady Being Held By Men

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has restricted television station in Kano State from airing programs seeing men holding women.

The restriction was disclose In a letter signed by the Executive Secretary of Kano State Censorship Board, Isma’ll Muhammad Na’Abba Afakallah, on April 7.

The State government said , airing film or programs seeing men holding women violate the norms, values, culture and religion of the people of Kano.

The development come after the state government, pointed a TV Show known as Kwana Kas'in and Gidan Badamasi, who was described by government not to comply with the state law.

The state government give the television Station 48hours to stop showing the programs, or face legal action.
