Late Adeyemi who was the Senior Pastor of Reconciliation House, Akure and the Convener of Towards Revival Among the Nations (TRANS), died on Sunday, 16 February 2020 while preparing for the morning service on that fateful day.
His death was disclosed by Olubunmi Akinsemola, on his Facebook wall on Saturday, February 17th 2020.
He said "How does the body of Christ replace such in icon that was ordained by Pa Elton and discipled by Bro Gbile Akanni and then went on to proclaim the gospel in its truest form while also discipling and holding fast to the Great Commission with the evangelism and missionary focussed ministry he ran.
"I remember our conversation during the last fuel scarcity while queueing for fuel at the petrol station near Reconciliation House and also his ministration at the Governor's Office during the first working day of the year prayer meeting a few years back. He was a man that was deeply spiritual, well informed, jovial and possess sed great sense of relating with people.
"But what an exit! Daddy reported went to be with the Lord while on his knees praying this morning. Earth has certainly missed a unique and rare man of a great God but heaven gains a saint. Commserations to Mommy Funmi Funmi-Elizabeth Odeyemi and the whole Reconciliation House.
Jesus is coming. In fact, it's like He's already on the way, ".
