Family of Ismail Bella from Okene Kogi State has cried out for help after their son Ismail Bella was said to have been arrested since 23rd of March 2019, by some men of the Nigerian army at about 1:am in his House Okene is steal been detained without trial, and his wear about is not known.

According to the request which did not state the reason of his arrest said that Ismail Bella was arrested by Army who stationed at Okene, on the 23rd of March 2019, since then efforts to know his were about has proven abortive.

Joshua Ozebehe Bello who wrote the request, then pleaded with general public to help secure the released of the said detained man.

THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF ISMAIL BELLO WISH TO BRING TO THE ATTENTION OF KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF THE ILLEGAL ARREST AND CONTINUE DETENTION OF A GENTLEMAN AND A CITIZEN OF ATEBA, AGASSA IN OKENE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF KOGI STATE

Ismail Bella (AKA Senator) was arrested on the 23rd day of March 2019 @ about 1 am in the early hours of the morning by men of the Nigerian Army who are stationed at Okene Kogi State.

WHO IS ISMAIL BELLO (AKA SENATOR)?
Ismail Bella is a graduate of Auchi Poly. Edo State, he studied Science and Laboratory Technology 2013, he is a devoted Muslim, he is from Existence of Apasi clan, he is married with children, he trade in fairly used clothes, he is a humble young man, he is so humble that he can engage in bricklaying or carpentry just for a living. He might be poor financially, but he is a spiritual and mentally rich person. He is known to be a simple gentleman, he has never been involved of any crime or pose any security threat to the community of Ateba, Agassa. On the 23rd March 2019 at about 1 a.m in the morning, he was at home with his wife and his two little daughters sleeping, when the men of Nigerian Army came took him away in the presence of his wife and children and threw him into their boldly inscribed Military Hilux Van Okene Branch.

EFFORT MADE;
Because of his integrity, the family of Ismail Bello, friends and well wishers, and the community of Ateba, Agasa Okene Kogi State has gone to Nigerian Army Lokoja Kogi State to inform them of the innocence of this young man but were not given listening ears, the community wrote a letter addressed to the Nigerian Army to no avail, all efforts to even know where he is been detained has proved abortive.

APPEAL TO THE STATE GOVERNMENT AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
We appeal and demand the urgent release of Ismail Bello AKA Senator who has been arrested and detained in an unknown place and without access to his wife and little children. The wife is so devastated and frustrated. He is the breadwinner of his family, the children have asked their mother of where their father has gone to all this while without looking back at them, this has left his family in Agony and anguish. This family cannot continue like this. Ismail Bello is from the great clan of Apasi where the distinguish Senator Oseni Yakubu and Hon. Kabiru Onyene belongs. We also use this medium to call on their attention to reach the relevant authorities on this matter.
Something must be done on the illegal arrest and unlawful detention of citizens from Okene by the security agencies in Kogi State. Citizens are been arrested for no known offences and been detained forever. We use this medium to demand for the immediate release of Ismail Bello (Aka Senator) from the custody of The Nigerian Army Kogi State.
