It was a another great moment of joy and cheerful show to behold as a mammoth crowd from Kogi LG thronged the Lugard House for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to endorse His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and his deputy, Hon. David Edward Onoja for 2nd term in office, come November 16, 2019.
Glass House, the venue of the meeting was filled to capacity with party faithful from the 11 wards of the LGA.
Stakeholders were amazed by the large turnout of party faithful who defied the tribal and religion sentiments to attend the executive meeting.
Hon. Saidu Akawu Salihu (SAS), the former State Assembly member and one time commissioner in the State while galvanizing support for the re-election bid of Governor Bello and his deputy at the meeting, said the people of Kogi LG have spoken and they are going to be at the forefront in the 4+4 project.
He added that the duo of BellOnoja's deserve 2nd term, considering the Governor's achievements in the areas of Health, Education and provision of security for the people. He lauded his effort in ensuring that equity, fairness and youth involvement characterize his selfless administration, adding, in Kogi LG, they are for 4+4 project, is achievable and not negotiable.
Mr Akawu also appeal to the Governor to tackle banditry and come to the aid of those revage by the flood as well presented message of the Kogi LG youths to the Governor before the mammoth crowds.
"We are gathered here this afternoon because of BellOnoja 4+4 project. The good people of Kogi LG are in the Glass House to tell the whole world that they are solidly behind the project and to endorse them for second term. There is no vacancy in Lugard House", Hon. Saidu Akawu (SAS). declared.
In his elonguent Speech, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello was elated with high present of those that matter as far as Kogi LG APC is concerned. He praised the leaders for unified APC in their domain starting from the National Assembly Member who represent Kogi/Lokoja federal constituency Hon. Abdulkarim Isah Usman Wambai to serving and former appointees.
He promised addressed all issue raised within shortest time, described Egbira Koto people as his true blood brothers and Sisters however, took them along memory line that Egbira Koto migrated from Okene their accestral home to Kotonkarfe for fish farming.
He assured Lokoja/Kotonkarfe populace that Hon. Wambai's mandate will soon be retrieved adding that Ebira people are not betrayal which he cannot be a party to that.
The indefatigable Governor out of his usual magnanimity to boost the youths moral reward Kogi and Lokoja LGAs youths with 10 brand new cars.

Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku who spoke after the programme says as part of measures in rewarding commitment, loyalty, the Governor did not only hosted the people of Kogi LG but accorded them high esteemed previlage by donating 10 brand new cars to Lokoja/Kogi LG youths, and urged them to continue to support the party in the 4+4 movement in the LGA.
