Reporting the incident,
Mr. Odaudu Joel Minister the Spokesman, of
Natasha Akpoti Campaign Organization, said yesterday in Lokoja that
:"Impeccable reports reaching us says that Natasha Akpoti's campaign posters and billboards are being vandalized in the State capital, Lokoja.
We condemn this act of cowardice in the strongest term possible. Petty and violent politics such as this is why Kogi state has remained socio-economically stagnant.
The Natasha Akpoti Campaign Organization hereby urges all the supporters and friends of Natasha Akpoti to please remain calm and not engage in any reprisal actions. We are on top of the matter.
Ours is not politics of violence and cowardice, but politics of civility and maturity.
No amount of scheming and intimidation can derail our commitment to bring good governance to the good people of Kogi state."
