The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Department of Operations AbdulMajeed Alli while touring the South Western Zone of the country to discuss security issues deemed it worthy to visit the Kwara State Police Command and also pay a commendation visit to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the improved and stabilized security situation in the state within short time of taking charge.
DIG AbdulMajeed Alli who was accompanied by the Kwara State Commissioner of Police appreciated the support of the governor for the State's Police command and beseeched the governor to continue to support and partner with the Police as the collaboration of few days in office is visibly yielding the long needed peace in the state.
AbdulRazaq reiterated that the maximum security of everyone in the state is one of the leading songs on his lips during the campaign as the Offa robbery incident was still a fresh wound in the heart of all Kwarans during the electioneering period and anything less than prioritizing security now will not be accepted by the electorates who made there needs clear during the general elections that swept through the state like a tsunami.
The governor promised that his administration will continue to work relentlessly to ensure peaceful coexistence, safety of lives and properties within the state which collaborating with all security agencies in the state is what a conscious government must maintain jealously if truly security remains a set goal.
