Kogi Kotonkarfe LG Administrator Hosts Aluta Abacha, NAUS Senate Presidency Hopeful In Lokoja Ahead Of National Convention

Barr. Muhammed Musa Tanko, the students friendly leader who double as Chief Administrator Kogi Kotonkarfe Local Government Area alongside his aides received the hopeful candidate of the National Association of University Students, Comr. I. M Lawal Dubagari aka Aluta Abacha at his residence in Lokogoma Phase 1 Lokoja, Kogi State ahead of tomorrow election.

The leader of the delegation Comr. Ibrahim Baba Idi, thanked the administrator for granting them a rousing welcome despite short notice, said I. M Lawal was the sole candidate adopted by many Universities Students under the above named organization.

Comr. I. M Lawal, the aspirant acknowledged the able pragmatic Chairman over his commitment to the service of his people and quickly reminded the Chairman on his fight against criminality which has brought sanity not only to the people of Kogi LG but has extended to Toto in Nasarawa State and Abaji in FCT, Abuja respectively.

He disclosed that the goal is to make the students versatile, advance their knowledge in their various field of study and a good platform to exchange ideals. Lawal said.

In his remark, the indefatigable Chairman Kogi Kotonkarfe LG, Hon. (Barr.) Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku expressed happiness receiving students unionism which he said he was a former strong executive member way back in his University days.

Recalled how he was elected as Chief Judge in the Bayero University, Kano, handling cases related to students affairs in 1987, became an active lawyer from 1992 and NBA Chairman Kogi State chapters and was appointed to serve the people of Kogi Kotonkarfe LG in 2016 til date as Chief Administrator by the present administration of the young and energetic Executive Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.

The Chairman told them to feel at home as Kogi is a home to all and sundry. The Administrator said.
