Kwarans cry out as Governor abdulrahman Representative sent to conduct screening for teachers are demanding N1500 kickbacks to cover up

"As Teachers loyal to Governor refused to be screened, claiming they are the government.

"Information reaching this medium have shown that the representatives of kwara State Government sent to various schools to conduct screening for Teachers and other government workers have turned the scheme to a money making ventures and are now charging one thousand and give hundred naira for the screening .

"According to a caller from Oro Grammar School who contributed on Sobi FM this morning , he alleged that Governor Abdulrahman Agents and consultants deployed to Oro Grammar School , Oro in Irepodun Local Government have been collecting sum of One thousand and five hundreds Naira (N1,500) from Teachers and all concerned staff in the school since their resumption to the school.

"Pressing further , the caller said it is frustrating that Governor Abdulrahamans government is starting to deal negatively with Teachers and Local Government workers who massively gave him supports during elections noting that the government must remember that the whips which was used to beat those before them are still in corners to be used against him in 2023.

"Meanwhile, there have been challenges observed from the screening exercises in Ilorin East local government as many of the concerned teachers and staff said to be loyal to APC in the state are refusing to appear before the screening panel claiming they are the government and will not subject themselves for any screening .

"According to eye witness accounts , these people believed the Screening Exercise embarked upon by Abdulrahsman's government is targeted at weeding out Teachers and Staff loyal to the past administrations and Saraki from the service of the state and not necessarily those who assisted the current government into gaining control of the state ."
