Anyigba Agog As Kogi Students Endorse Bello 2nd Term

Kogi-- Students of Kogi State have endorsed Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for re-election in 2019

The Students, under the aegis of Operation Return Bello to Glass House, disclosed their decision, penultimate weekend, in Anyigba, the State citadel community, during a peace walk and solidarity rally for Gov Yahaya Adoza Bello.

The Students in their hundreds, who stormed the ancient town of Dekina LGA of the State.

The group leader Comr Usman Abdulaziz who spoke to our correspondent said they had adopted Bello as their sole candidate for election.

Abdulaziz stated that the massive endorsements became necessary following the massive infrastructural development initiated by Gov Yahaya Adoza Bello across the State despite the unfavorable economic situation.

Abdulaziz maintain that the reason for call was to sustain the projects the governor has on ground, stressing that students will ensure his re-election.

He said: "We the University Students have formally aligned ourselves with the government of new direction and have endorsed Bello as our candidate for the slated guber poll.

"We are calling on him to re-contest and we will give him all the support".

In the same vain, the students earlier met with the University Chief Security officer Mr. Aurelius Yusuf Adejo to formally signed their peace walk and solidarity rally for Gov Yahaya Adoza Bello.

The Kogi State Chief of Staff Hon. David Edward Onoja and Hon. Ahmed Attah the eastern campaign coordinator of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello were in Ayigba inspecting Igala Unity House slated for commissioning tomorrow.
