Smart Adeyemi, you that cannot defeat Dino Melaye want to decide for the part ~ Kogi APC Stakeholders say


Kogi State All progressive Congress party (APC) stakeholders has reply smart Adeyemi of his threat to dump the party if Yahaya Bello is denied ticket for the party governorship candidate for November 16th election.

Sen. Smart Adeyemi, has threatened to work against the ruling APC if the incumbent Governor, Yahaya Bello is denied the ticket to fly the party flag in the forthcoming gubernatorial poll.

Senator Adeyemi disclosed this on Thursday at the APC stakeholders’ forum held in Lokoja.

Adeyemi also said that APC will lose Kogi state if Yahaya bello is died ticket.

Reacting to his statement, The stakeholders representative Senator Kadiri said that Smart Adeyemi present in the party did not contribute something meaningful to the party, that is why he cannot win his senatorial seat.

He said his legacy has crumbled the faith of the party in kogi west.

And that is why he was defeated by senator dino Melaye.

Let him go and address his zone and win the heart of his people back before deciding for the party.
Speaking on behalf of the Kogi State Stakeholders’ Forum, Senator Kadiri made two demands: “First, that the state government should take steps to pay outstanding salaries and pension to workers and pensioners respectively so as to cushion the prolonged hardship they have been experiencing in the state. “Secondly, Dr Kadiri drew the attention of the governor to the non-implementation of the reports of the two reconciliatory committees led separately by Prince Tony Momoh and General Garba (Rtd), set up by Chief John Odigie Oyegun, the former National Chairman of the party.” He also reminded the Governor that the resolutions reached during the interactive session with Vice-President Yemi Osibanjo before the last general elections remained unimplemented. He therefore urged the governor to take time to read these reports as a basis for further genuine reconciliatory discussion.
