Oseni said this today while reacting to indirect primary election adopted by Kogi State APC leader.
Responding to meeting Oseni said, "Earlier today, I attended the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders meeting that held in Lokoja, the state capital, where the leadership of the party unanimously adopted indirect method of primary election in August for November 16th governorship election in the state.
"The New Direction Government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello has increased and strengthened the membership base of the party to over 400 thousand since his assumption of office, which paid off in the last election as he was able to deliver victory to President Muhammdu Buhari and the 25 House and of Assembly seats to APC.
This has never happened in the history of Kogi State to have a one house party. I'm optimistic that the November 16 election will be a work over."
